How to Mix a Daffy's Martini

The dry Daffy's martini is the perfect complement to their balanced and flavoursome gin. So grab your mixing glass, your mixing spoon and:

5 ice cubes
1 1/2 parts DAFFY'S
1/2 part dry Vermouth
A dash of orange bitters
1 strip unwaxed lemon peel to garnish

Place the ice, gin, bitters and vermouth in a mixing glass (or cocktail shaker if you promise not to shake anything!) Stir down with a mixing spoon for eighteen seconds. Strain into a martini glass. Pinch the strip of lemon peel over the glass to release the oils and then drop into the martini.

Enjoy!

You can find Daffy's Gin in many of the world's most exclusive bars and restaurants.

World’s Best Martini Challenge is a fantastic competition that we are very proud indeed to have been involved in and ultimately to have won in 2017. The qualifying rounds and final event itself were an amazing amount of fun, very impressively organised and well run. Off the back of our participation and win we achieved a great amount of media coverage which was also supported very strongly by the event organisers. We look forward very much to defending our title again next year.

sometimes you just need a proper martini, done properly. so, every week (OR SO) we bring you a martini and a bar suggestion...

WOLFGANG'S TRIBECA

OUR PICK OF THE WEEK FOR A PROPER MARTINI

On a quiet Saturday afternoon after a lazy walk down the Highline, and pushing on just a few blocks further, you'll find yourself with a nice choice of watering holes. That's what happened to us and we chose Wolfgang's Steakhouse. There are certain constants in life upon which we can rely: a US steak restaurant will have a good bar, a good bartender and will happily serve you from the main restaurant menu while perched on your barstool. So it was that hard on the heels of a reassuringly large Botanist martini mixed by our new friend Raul, we found ourselves ordering the not-to-be-missed sirloin steak sandwich. We're not usually bothered about pairing gins with food - that's what wine is for after all - but we will go all out and say that it's hard to beat a tasty martini followed by a good piece of steak.
